It’s All Part of the Plan
Judith Cottrell, Brian Jobe, Alex Lopez

June 3–27, 2009

It’s All Part of the Plan brings together three artists whose work fundamentally deals with the element of space and line in an individual way- via media and form. Line is either actual or implied and space is environmental, architectural, physical, or illusionary. Their inspiration for the show came from an interest in how a merging of aesthetics could materialize into one complete "environment."

Through a collaboration of methodology and approach, Judith Cottrell, Alex Lopez, and Brian Jobe reconstruct the narrow architectural space of SOIL gallery into a constellation of independent and collaborative works that explore the concept of expansion and its interrelationship with the element of space.
